A five day
course in hedgelaying accredited
by the Open College Network.
Hedgelaying
is the art of cutting a stem
partly through so that it will
bend without
breaking and will continue to
grow. This makes the hedge stock-proof
without additional fencing and
prolongs the life of the hedge.
Hedges that have been laid over
generations form an important
aesthetic
element within the British landscape
and support biodiversity.
This
course will lead to an accreditation
at Level 1&2 with the Open
College Network.
