The Green Wood Centre’s Woodland Hall and
associated facilities, unique in the U.K.
provide a calm, stress-free environment for your conference, seminar or event.
The award winning environmentally conscious
architecture blends easily into its
own natural landscape with minimum impact on its location. This makes the
Green Wood Centre a most appropriate
conference centre and venue space for
the current
climate and the future. Nestling in its own woodlands, The Green Wood Centre
is a place that allows you a peaceful, yet stimulating space for thought,
focus and communication. |
We offer a venue space that is naturally welcoming
and warm with a vibrant ambience,
ideally suited for small conferences of up to
50 delegates, where cost to you is not compromised
in any way, either in facilities or level of
customer service, giving you excellent value
for money with minimal environmental impact.
Maximum Impact ……
On you and your delegates!
The Green Wood Centre is an extraordinary yet
effective space for meetings and conferences,
an interior that is striking and a complete
contrast to the more traditional corporate
venue.
Delegates can enjoy the tranquil surroundings
while taking full advantage of our up to
the minute modern facilities.
A variety of room configurations are available
including theatre style for up to 50 and
Boardroom Style for between 10 and 20 delegates.
We are a small team at the Green Wood Centre
and we pride ourselves on our customer
care. You can be assured of friendly
and helpful
assistance, continuity of care and fresh
ideas for a successful
and stress free event.
As well as our own on site management
team we also have a network of tried
and trusted
suppliers
who will aid us to ensure that your
needs are efficiently and effectively met.
We would add that The Woodland Hall
is not just a conference or seminar
space.
But is
adaptable
to and suitable for a wide range
of events or activities, from an art workshop
to
yoga class
for example, or for exhibitions,
craft
activities, educational events, and
even musical soirees!
The Green Wood Hall also easily serves
as a beautiful location to celebrate
other special
occasions,
such as weddings, anniversaries etc.
Minimum Impact….
On the Environment!
Modern building products can seem simple and
easy to use, but often have a high environmental
impact due to the way in which their raw materials
are quarried, transported and manufactured; the
by-products of these processes can create large
volumes of industrial waste, often toxic.
The Green Wood Centre was constructed using
only materials that are non-toxic and local products
to minimize the environmental impact. The Centre
has a high level of renewable energy efficiency.
The Woodland Hall, The Green Wood Centre’s own
eco friendly conference and event space, demonstrates
that buildings can be constructed using “green”
techniques, and is a totally green conference
centre, an environmentally friendly (or eco friendly)
venue, - a genuinely sustainable building which
demonstrates that we can function, work and thrive
as a species whilst reducing our impact on the
environment that we live in and share.
 |
Certainly, at the Green Wood Centre you
will find our conference buffets a far cry
from standard commercially produced fare.
Everything on our menu is vegetarian
and hand-made by us on site and as
a result is
fresh, nourishing, seasonal, interesting
and delicious!
In keeping with our own ethical code
and principles, we have adopted a policy
of ethical
sourcing regarding the cuisine we offer,
using and promoting a balance of high
quality local, organic and fair trade
produce.
