The Station House

Our offices are located in the old Coalbrookdale Station.

The building has been restored since it was left derelict after being closed by Beeching in the 1950s. The few remaining trains that pass transport coal to the Ironbridge Power Station.

The Station building has been further improved by a grant from Severn Trent Water to install central heating using solar panels linked to a wood stove - and an unusual shower block with reed insulation, lime plaster and low flush toilets.

Since we're in a Heritage area the outside of the Station has been restored to the original - sadly minus the platform!
