Woodland craft retail assistant

The Small Woods Association is opening the ‘Cruck Barn’ at the Green Wood Centre as a shop selling produce made by local artists and woodworkers. This will create an additional and valuable avenue for people who work using locally sourced and sustainable timber to sell their produce and raise awareness.

We require individuals with a friendly outlook to man the shop.

Necessary training will be provided, lunch at Cherry’s wholefood cafe will be provided and there will be opportunities for further training in both woodwork and retail management.

Skills Required:

  • Retail experience an advantage but not essential.

  • Able to handle money, basic numeracy.

  • Friendly personality.

Volunteers are required from Wed to Sun each week from about 11am until 4pm. Starting now – ongoing.

Please contact Luke Neal at the Green Wood Centre for further information and an informal chat.
