The site
is bordered by Captain’s Coppice which
is being brought back into management
using traditional coppicing techniques.
The woodland is host to a great diversity
of plant and animal life. There is
an easily accessible path through the
woods with interpretive panels and
benches made here at the Green Wood
Centre. The woods are shown here in
spring while the wild garlic is in
bloom.
